We are a group of active individuals who believe in the priceless value of sport and physical activities that push our boundaries, both mentally and physically. In this world of advanced technology, we are proud to be part of a team that helps people improve the way they move through using Wearable Resistance Technology.

Founder and CEO

Joseph Dolcetti is a high-performance coach, conditioning specialist and industry innovator with a career that has spanned over 33 years. He has worked with many of Canada’s top national and professional teams and athletes across a wide spectrum of Amateur and professional sports starting from 1986, working his way into the NBA as the first Canadian S&C Coach in pro basketball with the Vancouver Grizzlies. He moved to Asia to Head the athlete training for Malaysia for Sydney 2000 and has made Asia home ever since working with many of Asia’s top teams, athletes, and National sports programs.  He first conceptualized and prototyped modern wearable resistance tech in 2003 while training Athens-bound Olympic sprinters and has focused on WR ever since developing the root training methodology around wearable resistance – Light Variable Resistance training (LVRT). As the leader in applied WR and LVRT, he currently consults with LILA’s elite programs and customers worldwide on the periodization and application of wearable resistance across sport.

Global Head of Operations

#WomenWhoMove, our latest hashtag and market focus highlighting the incredible women of sport, fitness, and movement around the world, is personified in Susanne Olovsson. A world-class athlete/project manager/operations specialist, Su is that rare breed of person who literally worked her way through the trenches to the top of both her professional and personal fields.

Su began her professional career at the ground level starting in DHL in Sweden. Eight years later she was the Asia-Pac Head of Domain Sales & Marketing for DHL Express in Malaysia and completed double-bachelor degrees in Business Management and Marketing in her spare time along the way. She went on to senior project management roles in Australia with major industry players Quintiq and Dassault Systemes before coming back to her passion – sports and fitness with LILA, a company she has supported from the beginning as one of the co-founders and investor.

Her personal portfolio in sport is even more impressive and includes an international Rugby career as a World Cup player for Sweden, State player and National plate winner in Australia and a first 15’s Union league player in Malaysia competing in the Men’s National League, the ONLY female player in the history of Malaysian Rugby to do this – as a prop! Sue has competed internationally in floorball winning the Swedish National and European championships, rugby and a plethora of sports and has always given back to her sports community including as the co-founder of the Malaysian Women’s Club and National Rugby Program and as current sports trainer/masseuse with the international invitational rugby team The Penguins out of UK.

Su is more than a woman who moves – she’s an inspiration to us all. Our LILA family and Malaysia are lucky to have her back on South East Asian shores!

Head of Human Resources and Admin

Every team needs an anchor, a calming voice, a mother, big sister, sounding board, and all-around back-bone superstar whose even keel, on-sideness, and perpetual positivity keep the rest of the team sane in times of storm, loss, chaos, and struggle. Kay, our Head of HR, Admin, Accounts, and pretty much everything is that rock for LILA. It’s not surprising her sporting background is a team sport as she is the consummate team player. Kay, a former elite state-level hockey player for Kuala Lumpur which is notable considering Malaysia’s world-class hockey level, has a highly intuitive sense of people, business strategy and is a born problem-solver.

Kay literally fought to join our team almost three years ago and we haven’t looked back since. A professional working mother of three young daughters, Kay now has taken on the task of coaching her daughters, and under her expert eye, they are quickly following in their mom’s footsteps. Though the youngest one seems to have a penchant for boxing – no surprise there with her mom as the fighter she is.

For all business people out there, find yourself a Kay. Sorry though, you can’t have ours. She’s taken – for life!

Head of Design

Tracie is an experienced, well-trained Creative Director | UX Designer based in Spain. He has 20 years of experience in leading, managing, researching, conceptualizing, brand strategizing, fashion, product design, product development, user-centered design, and human-computer interaction. His minimalistic design approach is to constantly find solutions to improve the way one experiences life in the physical or digital world. He has worked and collaborated with many organizations, companies internationally through various platforms or industries.

He is also a Non-Medalist Runner. His life long training in four continents has prepared him to compete with no one but his own shadow. Apart from shadow marathons, he recently got back into rugby, nearly three decades since the last half time. Now, the only other way he contributes towards sports is to make a difference in The Movement Revolution.

His contribution to the development of EXOGEN is only the beginning of his race.

His design philosophy is: Simplicity. The Art of Complex Design.

Head of Manufacturing

If you look up efficiency in the dictionary there is a photo of our Manufacturing Manager Elaine. A fun, fit mother of one who knows how to enjoy life AFTER her work is done! Hailing from the mainland of China, Elaine was destined to be part of the LILA family from her first meeting with our CEO and Designer in China back in 2012 working for one of the OEM factories we were visiting in Hangzhou, sourcing for a production partner for Exogen. Elaine so impressed our team with her knowledge, professionalism, attention to detail, ethics, values, and smile that our CEO turned to our designer after that visit and said – “one day we’re going to hire her!” Six years later Elaine came on board and the rest is his history. Manufacturing is a numbers and details game and finding a person who is not only perennially positive and a joy to work with but has these skills combined with a deep respect for people and ethical practices was a godsend. Our wish – she could be with us every day in the office. Elaine is a star!

Head of Sales

Malaysia has long been known for its international prowess in Squash and Badminton, two of our most successful elite international programs. Our current team wouldn’t be complete without representation from these world-class sports. Eugene Ho, our current Head of Sales for Asia Pacific and former elite development athlete in the National Squash program has been busy since joining us a year ago, spreading the LILA family across the Asia Pacific region and globally. As one of the pioneering young athletes from the early days of our elite Bukit Jalil National Sports School, Eugene comes with an equally impressive sales and marketing background, having been part of the sales and marketing teams with such elite brands as Naza Italia, Ferrari, Maserati, and Jasmine Rice.

Eugene has a natural relationship and partnership character and is currently tasked with helping establish and extend our global distribution partnership network. If you’re keen to connect as a partner and help establish #LILAMovementechnology in your club, team, city, or region, reach out to Eugene. You’ll enjoy your Exogen Experience through him.

As a life-long athlete, Eugene has just recently returned to squash and is preparing now for the Asian Master’s Series and can be found training and running marathons, Spartan races, and local hikes in his favourite Exogen training piece – our compression Calf Sleeves. If you beat him in a squash game, your calf sleeves are free. 😉

Social Media Manager

Our LILA social media could not possibly be more social under the guidance of our new Social Media Manager the wunderkind Gracemyu. Social media influencer, health and beauty blogger, champion cheerleader and gymnast all wrapped up in a bundle of street-smart, sales savvy sarcasm that never fails to bring smiles and life to the world around her both digitally and in-person. Positive energy, skill, brains, and beauty this Dragon girl has it all. Grace personifies LILA DNA with her class and an indomitable spirit – “when they come to throw you out of town, make it look like you’re leading the parade.”

Senior Graphic Designer

“Still waters run deep”. Our newest addition to the LILA family definitely fits this bill. Quiet Fais comes on board as our first Graphic Design Manager with not only a wealth of experience in all forms of marketing, branding and digital design but she is quickly proving to have the ‘LILA-eye” showing that very rare talent of understanding the nuance and feeling of our designs while still creating technically sound work. The outcome is nothing less – than art. In her free time this understated rebel with a cause can be found out on her long runs, or perhaps skateboarding or paragliding to the sounds of Incubus. Deep waters indeed!

Product Executive

Helen is part of our LILA family – literally. The sister-in-law of our longest in-office team (Kay), Helen has proved to be as loyal, friendly, happy, and reliable as her family before her. Overseeing our inventory, product packing, in-house QC this mother of 1 does everything with a smile and with full attention. Embracing the challenge of upskilling, ensuring our products get out on time, and keeping our kick A.S.S. customer service program kicking ass, Helen’s joyful presence, work ethic, and consistency are a model for the entire team and we couldn’t be more grateful and lucky to have her with us.
